With 35 years swinging hammers and a Red Seal in carpentry, woodworking pumps through the veins of Black Beaver Woodworks like fresh sawdust through a shop vac. After buiulding homes in Victoria, B.C., I discovered my true calling—making one-of-a-kind treasures for my own home, like a walnut kitchen table and entry table, so gorgeous it makes other furniture jealous. Now, fueled by my love of wood’s charm and putting the finish coat on and watching the piece come to life, I create uniqe cribbage boards, engraved cutting boards, elevated dog feeders, and floating shelves.
